| JUNE June 16-17 Kingdom Days Celebrate 148-years of Breckenridge history during this two-day event. Founded in 1859, Breckenridge was inadvertently left off the official U.S. maps and became known as “Colorado’s Kingdom” until 1936 when it was finally incorporated. Kingdom days will celebrate this aspect of Breckenridge’s history as well as gold fields and mining, exploration and adventure, brothels and saloons, booms and busts. Be a part of Breckenridge history during the first celebration of Kingdom Days.
